अपनी मीरा संग बातें, करोगे आज
क्या बात हुई ऐसी, जो तोड़ दिया वादा?
क्या फिर से हृदय मेरा, दु:खाओगे आज?
Sakha kaha tha tumne, ki aaoge aaj
Apni Meera sang baaten, karoge aaj
Kya baat hui aisi, jo toda tumne wada
Kya phir se hriday mera, dukhaoge aaj?
*सखा / Sakha = friend. This is a reference to Lord Krishna.
*मीरा / Meera was an esoteric poet and devotee of Lord Krishna.
