तू कहे तो ख़ुशबू से कह दूँ
हवाओं में बस तेरी महक रखे
तू कहे तो डाकिये से कह दूँ
हर ख़त में बस तेरी ख़बर रखे
तू हाँ कहे तो उस हाँ की ख़ातिर
कह दूँ ख़ुदा से
मेरे लिए बस थोड़ी सबर रखे।

Tu Kahe To Khushbu Se Kah Dun
Hawayon Mein Bas Teri Mahak Rakhe
Tu Kahe To Dakiye Se Kah Dun
Har Khat Mein Bas Teri Khabar Rakhe
Tu Haan Kahe To Us Haan Ki Khatir
Kah Dun Khuda Se
Mere Liye Bas Thodi Sabar Rakhe.

To let your fragrance linger in the air for me
If you want, I’ll request the mailman
To keep your news in every letter for me
